i'm like full of emo these few days.....argghhhh all things......its like life here is so great yet i want a greater want...guess that being human doesn't stop us wanting more n more, like a never ending fulfillment......

i got an e -mail frm my superior here asking me to rethink again and not to go so soon....i've been in BKI for abt a yr now....hmmmmm..she's so nice to me here....how could i ???

it's like i love this place but i need to fulfill my ambition of travelling arnd the world......
i need to go to far more ... i wanna see it all while i'm still young...sort of...i'm 32 now....not that young anymore......

KUL is calling me yet BKI has given me so much for my inner soul.....i remember when the day 1st day i came here .... broken hearted and all and my mind was all over the place....leaving KUL at that time was a great thing to do.....

if KUL is bad , why do i want something that is bad......things like bf for example...we keep wanting that bad bf ? keep wanting that expansive gadget? why do we love bad things when we know that it's all bad....???

jett leaving KUL...today..didn't manage to say goodbye..work and all...it's hard to juggle life with frens and family frm here....

all i can do is hoping for the best since i've made up my mind...it's the hardest decision i've ever made......

when the time comes...i will say goodbye to all frens here....what a yr 2007 was....now i'm ready and stronger to bounce back...all the rehab that i've done here will be put to good use.....

it's my another 2nd chance to life....

janet on billboard magz cover....

here's the review on "feedback"....
New years are a time for renewal, right? So perhaps the dawn of 2008 is ripe to at last forgive and forget Janet Jackson's past indiscretions. Granted, singles from previous album "20 Y.O." weren't exactly radio-friendly, but in Island Def Jam bow "Feedback," she gives us the goods for a meaningful return to pop and R&B airwaves. The song features a gracious dance groove, but more so, supplies a singalong hook and distinctive melody—a funked-up "All for You," perhaps. Jackson's 10th studio album, "Discipline," streets Feb. 26. It sounds like, at last, she's previewing with a bona fide smash. Welcome back, Janet. Missed you much.—Chuck Taylor

virgin water !!!!

Madonna spends $10,000 a month on specially blessed Kabbalah water.

The Like A Virgin singer reportedly can't get enough of the $5-a-bottle beverage, and makes sure she always has a regular supply to hand.

A source close to the singer told America's In Touch Weekly magazine: "Madonna drinks a lot of water - that's one of her fitness secrets. And Kabbalah water is the only stuff she will touch.

"She also makes sure she always has some to hand, and has it regularly shipped to wherever in the world she is staying at the time."

A description of the blessed water on kabbalahwater.com reads: "The Kabbalistic blessings and meditations that are used to create Kabbalah Water bring about elegant and balanced crystalline structures in water, while negative consciousness has an opposite effect.

"This is hugely important. In a very literal way, Kabbalah Water is life's original blueprint information brought into the modern world."

Some leaders from the Kabbalah Centre are said to have claimed the water has the power to cure diseases including cancer and AIDS.

Madonna has been a devout follower of Kabbalah, a mystical off-shoot of Judaism, since the late 90s.

In 2006, it was revealed the 49-year-old singer - who has a seven-year-old son, Rocco, and two-year-old adopted son, David, with husband Guy Ritchie, and an 11-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship - had spent $2.4 million promoting the faith around the world in the previous four years.

MIMI and LOPEZ ...no cat fight....really???

American pop and R&B singer and songwriter Mariah Carey is fighting back a new Internet report that she has a grudge with Jennifer Lopez.

In the report, a quote said to be from Carey stated that she would rather appear on stage with a certain animal than ever share it with Lopez.

Carey insists that she had nothing to do with the quote and that it was “a complete untruth.” “This is just some Internet gossip and it’s pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real,” People quoted Carey as saying. “This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other,” she added.

Carey has a new album due out in the spring, shortly after Lopez is due to give birth.

what !!!! no sydney???

The Spice Girls may have initially included Sydney as one of their world tour pitstops, but hopes that they’ll actually fulfill the obligation are fading fast. Late last year they cancelled their announced Sydney date to allow for more performances in London and now an inside source at their record company, EMI Music, has let slip that they don’t expect the Spice Girls to make it to Australia.
“Let’s face it, scheduling a massive one-off concert like this in a country so far away was never going to happen,” they said, citing logistic and financial reasons as to why Ginger, Sporty, Posh, Baby and Scary wouldn’t make it down under. “Unless they tour the whole country, the Spice Girls won’t be stopping off in Australia.”
They suggested the original false announcement was a clever tactic to increase album sales before Christmas.
With the cancellation of the original date, and the fact they continue to book new dates in Europe and America, this source could be on to something.

victoria for marc jacobs campaign ....

Victoria Beckham's ad campaign for Marc Jacobs is just what you need to make you smile in time for the weekend- the new pictures released today certianly gave us a giggle.

Marc Jacobs has bagged himself a Spice Girl- quite literally- for his spring/summer 08 campaign with the new images showing Victoria emerging from a giant carrier.

It appears that she may have found her sense of humour as the images show her in some quite strange positions- including one of just her legs sticking out of the top of a bag.

"The images are humorous and ironic," Beckham said. "You can't be afraid to experiment with fashion, especially when working with Marc and Juergen — you have to push the envelope and show a different side.

Marc Jacob's didn't seem to be too bothered that the face of his label was named as the Worst Dressed of 2007 in Mr Blackwell's annual list. "Mr. Blackwell to me is this fictitious thing," he said. "I know there is a Mr. Blackwell, but it means absolutely nothing to me."

"It's like saying, 'What do you think of Santa Claus' list? I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was a little kid. The idea of best-dressed and worst-dressed is so subjective. To me, the best-dressed people are the ones happiest with the way they look and how much they enjoy getting dressed. I am sure there are people on that list that have appalling taste, but it doesn't matter if it makes them happy

Christina didn't release the baby's name immediately keeping in line with her top secret pregnancy

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Socialite Nicole Richie and her rock-star boyfriend became the parents of a daughter in Los Angeles on Friday, People magazine reported.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, People said, quoting a spokesman for Richie's manager. It is the first child for Richie, 26, and Joel Madden, 28, the lead singer of pop-punk band Good Charlotte.

Richie, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, has become a tabloid staple in recent years on account of her party-hopping lifestyle, stick-thin figure, and fractured friendship with Paris Hilton, her co-star in the reality TV series "The Simple Life."

A pregnant Richie spent an hour in a Los Angeles jail in August after being sentenced to four days for driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway while under the influence of drugs. Prison overcrowding in Los Angeles County means nonviolent offenders often spend only a fraction of their sentences behind bars.

Sugababes singer arrested after nightclub brawl
(Daily Mail)
Updated: 2007-04-30 18:59

A member of top girl group the Sugababes, Amelle Berrabah, was arrested yesterday after a dancefloor brawl in a Surrey nightclub.
The singer, 23, allegedly clashed with an 18-year-old girl, ripping out her hair in a vicious fight in Bar Med, in Guildford.

According to the Mirror, a source close to the singer claimed: "A large group of girls came up to them on the dancefloor and words were exchanged before a fight kicked off. Amelle defended her sister and gave as good as she got."
"By the end of the scuffle Amelle had a handful of hair extensions. Then the police showed up and took her away."

The source added: "Amelle and Laila were just having fun and dancing until things turned nasty.

Amelle spent a night in the cells at Guildford, Surrey, and was released on bail before joining her band on a flight to Los Angeles.

Police were called to Bar Med in Guildford, Surrey, at 1am and arrested Amelle. She was taken to the town's police station where she spent several hours in a cell.

The 23-year-old persuaded officers to let her give a statement at 7am yesterday so she could join bandmates Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range to catch a flight to the US. A Sugababes spokeswoman confirmed her arrest. She said: "There was an incident on Saturday night and Amelle is helping police with their inquiries. I can't say more than that because she is on a flight to LA."

Amelle, the newest member of the group, joined the Sugababes - whose hit Red Dress made it to No 5 last year - in December 2005 replacing original member Mutya Buena.

She has been dogged by controversy since she joined the top band whose hits include Hole in The Head and Freak Like Me.

Her ex boyfriend Freddie Fuller, who was in the bar when she was arrested, is to report to police today with John Carny, 22, Mark Marney, 28, and Lee Windybrook, 20, for allegedly raping her younger sister.

Her older sister was held for alleged theft at the hospital where she works.

Police said: "A 23-year-old female was arrested in Guildford town centre following an incident in a bar. She has been released on police bail pending further inquiries."

Last week, it was announced the band are launching a Barbie collection which will be available in UK toy stores in May.

Toy manufacturer Mattel expects the euro 9.99 Sugababes' dolls to outsell Barbies designed by Girls Aloud, which went on sale in November 2005

Johnny Depp Sings

After belting for the first time in "Sweeney Todd," Depp rocks out on his life in music
GAVIN EDWARDSPosted Jan 09, 2008 5:46 AM

Attend the tale of Johnny Depp: still Hollywood's most perverse superstar, he has followed up the family-friendly Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy with Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, a buckets-of-blood saga of cannibalism that is also — gulp! — a musical. That's right, Depp sings for the first time ever onscreen, and critics are warbling his praises for tackling the notoriously difficult score from theater legend Stephen Sondheim. This gripping adaptation of the 1979 Broadway hit is the sixth movie Depp has done with director Tim Burton, for whom he's played misfits from Edward Scissorhands to Ed Wood. But a full-out musical is a first for both of them. And the pain-wracked intensity Depp brings to this London barber obsessed with revenge is sparking Oscar talk.
Today Depp meets me in a suite at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. His jeans are ripped, and his black shirt is open at the neck to reveal a GONZO necklace, a tribute to his late friend, Hunter S. Thompson. Depp looks around the tastefully appointed room. "They've really done this place up," he says. "I lived in the Chateau for a while, years ago, and it was dingy but great. It was like they bought the couches from the Ramada Inn that was closed down by the Health Department in 1970." Depp has come a long way from his childhood in Kentucky, the youngest of four children. His parents — a waitress and a city engineer — moved more than twenty times while he was young, settling in Miramar, Florida, when he was seven, and divorcing when he was fifteen. These days, Depp, 44, and his family (French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5) split their time between Los Angeles and the South of France.
Conversation with the quick-witted Depp can careen from whether new popes get their genitals cupped to ensure the leader of the Catholic Church is sufficiently male ("I think an elderly man waddles up to you and reaches under your dress") to his out-of-control life before he met Paradis ("I'm a dumb-ass, and I poisoned myself for years. Now I understand things better").
It's been seventeen years since Depp starred in Cry-Baby, the Fifties musical pastiche from John Waters, where his singing voice was dubbed. Since Depp performs his own songs in Sweeney Todd, it seemed like the right time to revisit his musical career and how it improbably led him to become one of the most compelling actors of his generation.
Was your family musical at all?
My mom and my dad weren't particularly musical, no. But I did have an uncle who was a preacher, and he played hillbilly bluegrass guitar. So Sunday church services, it was like, "Hallelujah, brothers and sisters," and then he would start picking "Stepping on the Clouds." That was where I got the bug: watching my uncle play the guitar with his little gospel group, right in front of me.
What was the first record you bought?
I don't know if I bought it, but the first record I remember listening to nonstop, oddly, was Dean Martin, Everybody Loves Somebody. And then Boots Randolph. And then the record album of Blackbeard's Ghost, with Peter Ustinov. I'd never seen the film — I didn't see it until I was in my late thirties. But I knew it verbatim. Slightly ironic. And then I turned that corner into preteen and I remember listening to Frampton Comes Alive! too much. My brother's ten years older than me. He grabbed the needle off the album and there was this horrific noise — wrrrraarrrar. He said, "Listen, man, you're killing me. Try this." And he put on Van Morrison's Astral Weeks. And it stirred me. I'd never heard anything like it. I said, "OK, maybe Frampton Comes Alive! is a little tired." Then my brother, very pleased with himself, started turning me on to other things, like the soundtrack to Last Tango in Paris.
Did you wonder why they didn't show the [X-rated] "Tango" on TV?
I was a little kid and it sounded good enough to me. I remember liking the image on the record album, of Brando and Maria Schneider, although I didn't quite understand it. It's a good bit to chew on when you're a kid. Now, thirty-some years later, it's still a pretty good bit to chew on. It's good stuff.
How did listening to music become making music?
When I was twelve, I talked my mom into picking up a Decca electric guitar for me for twenty-five dollars. It had a little blue plush amp. And then, this is horrible, the first thing I did was steal a Mel Bay chord book. I went to this store, stuffed it down my pants and walked out. It had pictures — that's why I needed it so badly, because it was immediate gratification. If I could match those photographs, then I was golden. I conquered it in days. I locked the bedroom door, didn't leave, and taught myself how to play chords. I started learning songs by ear.
What was the first song you could play through?
Every kid with a guitar at that time, the first things that came up were almost always "Smoke on the Water," obviously, and "25 or 6 to 4," by Chicago. But the first song I played all the way through must have been "Stairway to Heaven." I remember getting through the fingerpicking and just cursing Jimmy Page.
What was your first band?
When I was about thirteen, I got together with some other kids in the neighborhood. This one guy had a bass, we knew a guy who had a PA system, we made our own lights. It was really ramshackle and great. We'd play at people's backyard parties. Everything from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin to Cheap Trick to Devo — and "Johnny B. Goode" was the closer.
You've got that wistful look in your eyes.
You're thirteen years old and you're playing rock & roll. Loud. Poorly. But somebody's letting you do it in their back yard. And it was absolute perfection. It was freedom. Right off the bat, there was no question: I had found my future.

Warner Brothers Album Listening Party
The Warner Brothers Press Information site published this blog on the new album listening party that took place in December in New York City.
'It's not every day that Warner Bros. Records gets a visit from the Material Girl herself. Well we didn't exactly roll out a red carpet - but we did build a plastic brick path inspired by the Candyland game that Miss M. happily strolled down on the way to our conference room which was completely transformed into a palatial pink and white candy emporium. All we knew was there was a song on her upcoming CD that mentions a candy shop - henceforth our theme. And of course, Madonna's love for candy - especially hot tamales is pretty well known. This was strictly for the Warner Bros. Records employees - no press, no photographers, no cell phones. Madonna, always the perfect hostess screamed out different song choices to our resident dj by numbers. 'Jesse, play no. 5 next' and so on. We were treated to l0 songs with comments by the artist on some of her collaborators Pharrell, Justin, Timbaland, an appearance by Kanye West, etc. Every song was a knock out with two apparant favorites being Four Minutes to Save The World and Candy Shop or Candy Store (not decided)....Madonna mentioned she was a little nervous as it was the first official playing of the music. Thankfully it was a room filled with Madonna fans who cheered after every song was played. Champagne and soda and lots of candy later, we all agreed that we felt blessed that we worked at Warner Bros. Records.'
Here are two pictures from the listening party room taken by Shira Citron, to view more pictures of the room decorations visit www.itsbetterinburbank.com
